Trade visitors had the opportunity to discover many brand-new REFINERALS® at Dorfner’s new show stand.

Dorfner, a specialist refiner of high-grade minerals, put new innovative system solutions for coatings on display at the European Coatings Show 2013. There was lively interest from industry insiders in DORVALIT® SHO, a surface-modified functional filler that sets new standards in exterior paint and wood varnish water repellency and adds a new dimension to the moisture management of walls and wooden building components.

Dorfner has also expanded its range of REFINERALS® with a new multifunctional filler for the paint industry. DORKAFILL® F is the name of the latest addition to the tried and tested multifunctional calcined kaolins from the DORKAFILL® range to offer paint manufacturers high hiding power for dispersion paints.

Visitors from the industrial flooring segment also showed particular interest, seeing for themselves how Dorfner is also ahead of the game when it comes to colored quartz sand for resin-bonded flooring as well. They were particularly impressed with the Dorfner “tusks”, finished with GRANUCOL® coatings in trendy and attractive designs, that really drew attention to the new show stand. That they can also save a considerable amount of hard cash through the use of DORSIMIX® solutions when laying floors was an additional “treat” that met with a very warm welcome from visitors alongside the cool smoothies and the tasty finger food.
